Gardened a bit this evening... ate a few more cherry tomatoes and asked the pear tomatoes nicely if they wouldn't turn yellow a bit more quickly. My patio is absolutely taken over by the garden, there's hardly anywhere to sit or stand out there and it's being eaten alive by tiny spiders. I wish they'd eat the black aphids faster.

If the "tiny spiders" are red and you are also seeing tiny yellow spots on the leaves of your plants (perhaps growing to yellowing of the entire leaf), then you probably have spider mites and they are sucking the juices out of your plants.
