I had to take a Health Assessment today for work insurance coverage. In the age of a black president, equal marriage protests in all 50 states, and female vice presidents taken seriously enough to get 40+% of the vote... well, let's just say I was disappointed.

First we had question #36, which lists some illnesses they'd like to know if you suffer.

As you can see, your choices are Cancer, Asthma, Diabetes, Stroke, and... Menopause?

Um, that's a hereditary thing, right?


Next up, they want to know your relationship status.

I know that the background here is that statistically, people in long term committed relationships are healther than people who aren't. But, don't you think it's a little 50s of them to require that you be Married, Alone, or... Other?
