:( mine didn't fruit the first time... I think it was because I tried to 'refrigerate' it outside because we have a very very small refridgerator.
That's interesting, because we did the same thing (left it on the deck for two weeks!!). Did you make sure to soak it in water before you tried to make it fruit? The water totally did the trick - there were baby mushrooms popping up the day after we soaked it.
