Warmed

Sitting down to dinner (my favorite pasta and tomato dish), finally. Left for work at 7:30am, got home at 6, went to the gym til 8:30, got on a call for work at 9, and now I am on a second call that lasts til 11:30.

And then off to work again at 7:30.

True Nature

Our fall harvest of balcony tomatoes. Not including the full sized fruits still ripening, and its nearly 4 cups!

Jump For Joy

Hachi is very excited to hear I am blogging again.

Or maybe we just left the door open and she's found another fly...

...And We're Back!

Turned my phone back on today, so blogging will resume this week. I know, you missed me. I missed blogging, too! Glad to be back online.

We spent today wandering around downtown.. Went ring shopping (found beautiful rings, realized we will have to win lottery to pay for them), bought a mountain of basil to turn into pesto, finally found the downtown Coldstone. Thanks, summer, for sticking around this weekend!

I miss blogging! Even when I have nothing to say!

The new job is going. I'm tired, but the weather is lovely and it's fun to be learning so many new things all at once. It's like back-to-school all over again!

Til I'm back with a mobile device, here's a few photos from Flickr to keep you busy.

Alive, Buried In Bubbles

Hi out there. I know you were wondering if I'd come back, so I thought I'd type up a little update to my week here.

Last week I was on vacation, and had time to care about (and get angry about) things like politics and such. This week, no such thing. I spent all week in orientation with the new company, and MAN was it a lot of information in a few short hours. My brain hurts. But, many things have happened, so..

I met a ton of new people, I got a new laptop (it's exactly like the old laptop, but runs Vista), I learned to use half a dozen new complicated systems to do things like get training and submit time cards. OMG there is SO MUCH training to be done.

I interviewed twice (!) at The Company, only a few miles from the old job, and I think I actually got 'hired' to a job, which I really hope I like because I'm there til next July! On the other hand, I'm only there til July!

So, all is well, I'm still alive, the new job is pretty exciting, and soon I'll be back more regularly.

Off to enjoy a lovely day downtown...
