I hate rental cars
"to move the shift lever from park position, the brake pedal must be depressed with the ignition switch on." ... Apparently, you must do this in reverse in order to park the vehicle, which will otherwise keep your key hostage and the transmission stuck in Reverse.
To recap: you must have the car ON in order to put it in Park. You cannot put in in Park if you turned it off while still in Drive.

All I Wanted Was Your Hands On Me
Shots from this weekend are up on Flickr! this is a great shot that Talina's friend Keera captured by chance from Gasworks -- the camera was luckily set to perfectly highlight this couple of strangers just as they hugged, in front of the cityscape.
go see the rest! :)

My New Love

Greetings. This is a post created from the dashboard of my new macbook, which I am so in love with I have now spent nearly an hour standing in my kitchen at the counter, playing with silly personalization stuff, instead of eating. Ah, technology.
Oh yeah, and I like Talina, too. ;-)

Things I did not do this summer:
Things I did do this summer:
How was your summer?
- Go backpacking with Sarah in BC. How to rectify this: remember that September is still very warm and give it a try this month
- Go swimming. How to rectify this: vacation to a hot place in the middle of winter
- Excercise enough. How to rectify this: lower expectations
- Successfully interview for and find a new job. How to rectify this: ???????
Things I did do this summer:
- Spend lots of time with Talina (yay!)
- Start excercising (running once a week)
- Read a bunch of books (18, at last count)
- Backpacked with Ana and Tad
How was your summer?
