Take A Trip

Tea found these slides at an antique store in NE, and I turned them
into earrings! The other side has the Eiffel tower and cherry blossom.

Accordian Heaven

Tea's eagle eyes spotted an accordian concert in the weekly paper, so,
of course, we rounded up the girls and hit the Crystal Ballroom!! I
have now heard Thriller played on the accordian, and I believe life
may be complete.

Wherever You Are

Working from home. The cats probably don't care that I am here... It
is pure coincidence that all 3 of them just felt like sleeping on the
futon this morning.

Best Ever $6 Cat Toy

Talina and I spent the evening not sleeping, but instead putting
together this cat gym from $6 worth of scraps courtesy of the Rebuilding Center, a loaned staple gun (thanks, Travis!), and the old couch cover the cats already destroyed.

We screwed a shelf, a drawer, and a piece of scrap wood together, covered some of it with padding and scratchable fabric, and called it good. Probably took 2 hours start to finish, and 20 minutes of that was trying to figure out how to load staples into the staple gun (thankfully Amazon ratings assured us that we aren't the only idiots who didn't get it right away).

As you can see, the cats took to it quickly.

Sunday Forest

We took a bus (!) to go hiking at Forest Park.

Sorry For Any Inconvenience

The bridge at Tacoma, from the Amtrak train home to Portland. Too bad
I won't always get to be riding home with the sunset.

Spent the evening watching Vienna Teng at Lake Oswego's Millenium
Park, with Brian and Lisa.
